Let's Rally for Kids

In 1990, a small group of volunteers banded together with the hopes of making a difference. We thought that it would be fun to move from what started as a Sunday afternoon social car rally to something a little bigger, more impactful, and with a charitable component.  After careful research, the decision to support the Children’s Wish Foundation (now unified with Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Canada effective October 2019) as our recipient.

Over the past 33 years, the rally has grown from participation in the low twenties to well over 300 people!  Last year, the Car Rally raised $40,390!  In 2022, our 32nd year of the event, we reached our accumulative goal of raising $1,003,020.  A huge challenge, but our faithful friends, sponsors, and especially our volunteers, have helped us get to this point, however, we want to do more, we want to make our goal $100,000 and continue the momentum to our 2nd MILLION. 

This year, we explored the idea of changing the charity we support, to get back to our grass roots with charities that are more grass roots.  We started to research other smaller children’s charities that are in Canada and serve children in Ontario.  After very careful consideration and research, we chose, not one, but two very deserving charities:  Shine Foundation and the Jennifer Ashley Children’s Charity and we’ve named the rally:
